Parent Dashboard
The purpose of our parent dashboard is to provide an efficient system, allowing data collection and analysis of children performing tasks and activities on the platform by tracking and measuring their educational success. Each section comprises synthesized student’s data in different computing formats so that they can improve children’s’ reading comprehension. This section offers a snapshot of what each system does and how it helps parents increase their children’s literacy retention. The parent dashboard has eight data collection sections, presenting parents with a holistic mapping of their student’s academic progress. Â

Current Story
Here is our ‘Current Story’ section. This section allows parents to see which story their student is currently completing, including the title and time to complete the stories, quizzes, and activities. What are your first impressions of this section? Grading Metrics Graph
This is our ‘Grading Metrics Graph’ section. In this section both parents and caregivers have a graph chart which automatically analyzes the data from the ‘Current Story’ section. The graph charts can be adjusted with any story the child engages with. It uses the data to provide parents with information on how they can adjust the story levels to build their children’s confidence. What are your first impressions of this section? Grading Metrics
This is our ‘Grading Metrics School’ system. This functionality allows parents and caregivers to measure their child’s learning patterns and compare their data with state and national metrics of other children. Parents can see where their children are excelling and struggling in various assessment metrics (i.e., Phonics, Fluency, Reading Speed, Grammar, Spelling, and Vocabulary). Teacher Dashboard

Game HUD
Our Game Hud provides you with a visual of how our story system will work. Parents, teachers, and children can access certain tools to enhance gameplay, including an Avatar Creator, Word Exchange System, and a Visual and Sound Effects Editor. Our story engine also offers gamification tools, content for visual interplay, and an A.I. system built for endless hours of gameplay.

Play as Ava
Kids can choose to play as either Ava or Jbear in navigating our mini-games for story advancement. Ava has two power boosters to help her on the journey, a magical compass/clock, and a magical telescope. In each season, Ava unlocks more hidden capabilities with her power boosters. Below is a general overview of her power boosters.
- Magical Compass/Clock – Ava can use the Magical Compass/Clock to accomplish many heroic feats. Some of these capabilities include traversing many different stories, going back in time, and alchemy.
- Magical Telescope/Magnifying Glass: This is not an ordinary telescope. With this telescope/magnifying glass, Ava can see extremely long distances and use the magnifying glass to analyze the smallest, unseen detail in every environment.

Play as JBear
By choosing to play as Jbear, kids get a different perspective of engaging with our interactive stories. Like Ava, Jbear has his own extraordinary power boosters for their adventures. As with Ava’s power boosters, Jbear’s tokens will also gain more power. Below is a general overview of his power boosters.
- Magical Mega/Speaker Phone: Jbear’s mega/speaker phone allows him to communicate with any creature in any fairy tale or story.
- Magical Map: Jbear’s magical map allows him to access any map image over any terrain for safer and faster travel experiences. This tool is more like a Marauder’s Map, where the images appear only to those who are worthy.

These power boosters are designed to engage with different levels of thinking and capabilities. We want children to learn through engagement and association, and these power boosters provide children with these opportunities. Uncle Dj
Uncle DJ is a previous participant in the events before the adventure starts. He’s the pendant’s previous owner and is Oliver’s surrogate father, thus making him Ava’s mentor and surrogate grandfather. Uncle D.J. knows of the many perils and adventures in the world of fairy tales, thus making him a veteran in times of crisis. Â

Each story comes with 5 mini-games that are designed with simple game mechanics for gameplay engagement and increased activity. Each mini-game is designed to provide engagement in various subjects (i.e., math, history, engineering, reading, technology, education, and art). Players can use points to purchase additional items in the online store.Â
